Silently hear everyone. Accept what is good. Reject what is not.

'KEEP SMILING' is our Vidyalaya motto. This means: Be brave and courageous always, face every experience of life with a smile on your face. In other words, be balanced in life under all circumstances joy or sorrow, success or failure, honour or dishonour, prosperity or adversity. This calmness of the mind expresses itself in a smile.

The Chinmaya Vidyalaya has as its emblem, the lamp and the `Hamsa' bird. In the light of the Scriptures (represented by the lamp) the discriminative power of the human intellect is to be developed (represented by the Hamsa bird). Vedic tradition describes Hamsa as a bird that can drink milk alone from a solution of milk and water.
