INVESTITURE CEREMONY

Investiture ceremony is an important occasion where a school entrusts its upcoming leaders with certain roles and responsibilities. Delegation of responsibility and giving authority to children is important as it teaches them lifelong skills of being powerful and caring at the same time. It was a proud moment for all as the Investiture Ceremony was held on 01.08.2022 forming its much awaited Board of school leaders , house leaders and Prefects. The newly elected members of the student council took the oath , Thereafter, they were conferred with badges and sashes by Vice Principal Ma’am Mrs. B. Neelima Reddy. Mam congratulated the team and reminded them that with position comes responsibility towards themselves, their School and peers. She advised them to be role models for their peers and the juniors.

One Act of books 📚 donation can help many

The Library will always gratefully considers donations of books that may be able to add to the collection of library ,those Books may help others to form their own unique perspective of the world around them . One of our student of fifth grade donated a book 📚 to our school library on the occasion of her birthday and stood as an example to many .

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS 2022

Nation first, always first**

Independence Day is the biggest festival of democracy for all Indians. It is a day to remind everyone that freedom does not come easily to anyone. It is a day to remember the sacrifices of lakhs of freedom fighters who fought valiantly against the foreign rule, not only to get their land back but also to fight oppression, elitism, the brutal brutality. Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm by all the students and staff of our school. The program was started by hoisting the flag and the national anthem was played. Later students presented patriotic songs and dance performances. There were speeches by the vice principal mam, the chief guest, and our lovely children. The program ended with the National Anthem, and finally, we celebrated Independence Day 2022 with great pomp and splendor. Jai Hind!

***EDUCATIONAL TRIP TO SPACE EXHIBITION CONDUCTED BY ISRO SHAAR***

The experience of participating in a science exhibition goes beyond the experience of conducting an experiment in a laboratory. Today students of classes X , XI , XII got an opportunity to visit a space exhibition conducted by ISRO SHAAR in S .V. University campus Tirupati , where they got an opportunity to learn from the eminent dignitaries and professors involved in the program about the space centres , origin of satellites , several new satellite technologies and about various satellite launch Vehicles. Such science exhibition, elaborate on the scope of applying a particular concept to a real-world problem. It helps children in realising the value of learning in real life.

VAN MAHOTSAV CELEBRATION (JULY 1ST TO JULY 7TH)

*VAN MAHOTSAV - A festival to celebrate forests in India*

We can't imagine a world where there will be no trees and no forests. As mankind is dependent on trees for their needs, so we thought this week should be utilized in a creative way to spread awareness in the form of several activities and competitions like poster making, slogan writing, planting saplings and successfully concluded with the rally so that even the illiterate section of society could understand its importance The need of the hour is that all the destruction caused by humans can only be balanced through afforestation Such small initiatives by us will help us in making our planet greener and cleaner. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to our district collector sir DEO sir and joint collector sir, and all the media people for being a part of this programme and making it a grand success. Participation by all the amenities of Tirupati and our beloved children was like an oath taken by our whole district with Tirupati as the first stepping stone for such an great initiative.

PARTICIPATION IN GURU VANDANA PROGRAMME (JULY 15, 2022)

The Bhagavad Gita presents a synthesis of ideas about dharma, theistic bhakti, and the yogic ideals of moksha. Why did the greatest warrior Arjuna freeze on the battlefield? What was the Arjuna disease? Is it relevant to us today? How can we overcome it? The essence of *Chapter 1* of the Bhagavad Geeta presented by *Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Tirupati* at Chinmaya Heritage Centre , which turned into a spectacular show .

Yoga is a spiritual discipline that focuses on harmonizing the mind and body. It is an art and science of healthy living. According to the Yogic scriptures, the practice of Yoga leads to the union of an individual’s consciousness with the universal consciousness. Chinmaya Vidyalaya Tirupati, students celebrated International Yoga Day by performing Yoga Asanas.

INTERNATIONAL MUSIC DAY CELEBRATION - 21st JUNE 2022

World Music Day is celebrated on June 21 every year to honour musicians and singers. The day is celebrated to motivate budding, young, and professional musicians to perform and support the love of music around the world. Students celebrated this day by performing various musical forms on stage.

This programme has a strong focus on supporting transformation and achieving significant impact in several topics like short films , dubbing, music , casting , direction, voice modulations, story writing , acting , yoga , costume , makeup , stage , location, and dance themes. Such programmes fosters the development and sharing of new practices, experiences and learning between and within students and schools.

FOUNDATION STONE LAYING CEREMONY (BHOOMI POOJA) – MAY 6TH 2022

Ceremony on 6 May 2022 marks the transition from planning to reality , the foundation stone for a new building was laid in august presence of mithrananda swamiji and the honourable members of the board of chinmaya vidyalaya tirupati, and the other distinguished guests and staff and the program successfully concluded by a grand meal .

CAREER COUNSELLING PROGRAM

Opportunities don't happen , we create them

A career counselling program was held in our school on 1st May for the students of class 12 th , who are in their career deciding years . The program focused on choosing a career in civil services and the counsellor gave a lot of valuable information and explained about the sea of opportunities in the outer world .

Swami Chinmayananda jayanti is annually held on May 8. In 2022, it is the 106th birth anniversary of Swami Chinmayananda. Swami Chinmayananda jayanti is the birth anniversary of the great spiritual teacher, who continues to enthrall and enlighten thousands of people around the world. Today we the staff of chinmaya vidyalaya tirupati celebrated and cherished this wonderful occasion with bhajans and stotrams, and offered our prayers to our pujya gurudev .

Lord Ganesha is regarded as the primary God of worshipping, the Supreme God known to solve problems. Furthermore, Lord Ganapati is known by the three names: Siddhi, Buddhi, and Riddhi. Siddhi – Success Buddhi – Wisdom & Intelligence Riddhi – Prosperity “A Well begun is half done.” In accordance with the start of the new academic year 2022-23 the powerful Ganapati Homam was performed in our Vidyalaya, the students of classes 10 and 12 participated in the homam along with the staff.

Lord Rama is called Maryada Purushottam because he presented the best example of an iconic life in spite of suffering from many problems during his lifetime. It is believed that all the evils in the life of a person who worships Lord Rama are eradicated, that is why Ramanavami has special significance in the Hindu religion. Sri Rama Navami celebrations took place in Vidyalaya in a grand and splendid manner where the pooja was conducted by swamini amma followed by skit, speech, and bhajans by students and staff.

FAREWELL PARTY FOR CLASS XII

" Every ending has a new beginning "

A farewell ceremony was arranged in the honour of outgoing class XII students of our vidyalaya . Students of class XI organized it. The function began with lighting of lamp and recitation of prayer, followed by heart touching speeches of students who expressed their deep love and gratitude for the school and teachers. Next the teachers wished the students welfare and advised them to prepare themselves for the future, finally the farewell party came to an end @ 5 pm with cultural programs and distribution of snacks.

INSPIRE AWARD WINNER – 2020-21

Inspire award scheme is one of the flagship programs by the government of the Department of Science and technology. Under this scheme, schools can nominate the best original ideas and innovations from their students. Our Chinmaya Vidyalaya has put forth the best, its best hand through a student names Ruthwika, XI class along with the Science team, and proved themselves in the first level of District and rushing forward with more creative innovation for the oncoming state level.

RAM NAVAMI CELEBRATION

Rama Navami, one of the biggest and most auspicious Hindu festivals in India, is celebrated on the last day of Chaitra Navaratri. Lord Ram was born on Ram Navami in Ayodhya on this day. He was born on Navami Tithi during the Shukla Paksha or Full Moon phase in the month of Chaitra, according to the Hindu calendar. Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Tirupati celebrated Rama Navami on April 21, 2021 with all it grandeour and devotion. The whole campus was filled with the divine mantras recited by the priests who performed the pooja. All the teachers and the non teaching staff along with the Principal enjoyed the pious atmosphere in the school campus on this occasion.

KRISHNA JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATION

Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated in Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Tirupati online by creating a divine atmosphere on 30th August 2021. Our tiny tots of Kindergarten disguised themselves as Krishna and gopikas . Students performed skit, dances and recited songs on Krishna. The function was made delightful by the bhajans of Krishna and by performing pooja.

VASANTH PANCHAMI CELEBRATION

Bansat Panchami or Vasanth a Panchami is the festival dedicated to Goddesses Saraswati who is the Goddess of Knowledge, wisdom, language, music and all arts. The Hindu festival marks the preparation for the arrival of spring. In our Chinmaya Vidyalaya Tirupati, a traditional Pooja was conducted, the students worshipped Goddess Saraswati to get enlightened with Knowledge and to get rid of lethargy, sluggishness and ignorance. The program started with prayer, continued with Medha Suktam chanting and then with Goddess Saraswati songs. The complete school campus was reverberated with the almighty presence, chantings of mantras and the holiness.

VIJAY DIWAS CELEBRATION

India acknowledges Vijay Diwas as the victory in the Indo-Pak War, popularly known as Swarnim Vijay Varsh. On this day, India celebrates the day by paying homage to the Indian soldiers who achieved victory in the historical war which led to the creation of Bangladesh. This year marks the 51st anniversary of India’s victory over Pakistan in 1971. Students of Chinmaya Vidyalaya Tirupati paid tribute to the brave Indian soldiers who sacrificed their lives for India during the War by giving speeches, poster making and by their drawings and paintings.

NATIONAL YOUTH DAY CELEBRATION

National Youth Day is celebrated on January 12, every year in India to honor the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, one of India's greatest leaders and believers of youth power. Students of Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Tirupati gave presentations on Swami Vivekananda ji and remembered his teachings.

PAKRAM DIWAS CELEBRATION

"Give me the blood and I will give you Freedom". These are the words of Nethaji. Netaji Subhash Chandra bose birthday is celebrated as Parakrama Diwas. It is the day that arises patriotism in everyone. Chinmaya Vidyalaya Tirupati celebrated the occasion to instill sincerity and National spirit in the students. The students of class VII enlightened everyone about the life of Nethaji and brought back his memories with inspirational words, paintings, slogans, and speeches. The commitment of the students brought with it a saga of love for the Nation and a feeling of Unity.

75th Independence Day was celebrated with Patriotic flavour in Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Tirupati on 15th August 2021. Flag raising was done by the Principal followed by National Anthem at school. Online programme was organized in which students presented poems, speeches, musical instrumental melodies, fancy dress, crafts related to national flag and map.

KARATE CHAMPIONS

Karate is a martial art from the indigenous Ryukyuan. Gichin Funakoshi, the father of modern karate found this style in the 17th century as days, this martial art developed from China to all over the world. We, the Indians are not lacking behind in encouraging any art. Our Chittoor District Karate Championship conducted the Karate competitions and our Chinmaya Vidyalaya students P. Yajnadhar (Gold-2, Bronze-1 )of Class VI, P. Sourish (Gold-1, Silver-2)of Class III, and Ashwath (Gold-1, Silver-1)of Class I won the prizes and highlighted the level of themselves along with the school name. We, the Chinmaya Vidyalaya join the country to pay the humble tribute to the legendary Mathematician, Sri Srinivasa Ramanujam, a mathematical genius, and to his exceptional knowledge in Mathematics analysis, number theory, infinite series, and so on. He made our country proud by his outstanding achievement. Today being his birth anniversary, which is commemorated as National Mathematics Day, we in Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Tirupati celebrated by making the students come out with different mathematical analysis, speeches, and explanations. The day was celebrated with great regards to Shri Srinivasa Ramanujam and also to encourage the students to develop self learning and rational skills.

POSTER MAKING COMPETITION WINNER (TOPIC – EK BHARAT SRESTHA BHARAT)



A poster-making competition was conducted by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's TPT on the topic ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat' in which one of our students from Chinmaya Vidyalaya Tirupati, Hamsika Raj of class VIII, secured second prize. It is a great privilege and pride for everyone both for the parents and the school. Our school always stands first in encouraging such children to shine in their talented fields.

Academic Activities(2019-21)

The activities program also provides some academic options to help students to develop their skills or support in their curriculum areas. The activity starts with some team building and skills training then later on develop when the long term challenges for the competition are announced. At Marg chinmayavidyalaya school we offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities, these are available both before during and after school hours. Extra-curricular activities are available from age 5-18 and are selected on a termly basis giving every student the chance to try something new. Some of our weekly activities include, art and craft, chess, drama performances, native languages, debating, gardening and the school magazine.





Patriotic Festivals:

REPUBLIC DAY and INDEPENDENCE DAY : On this day, all the work places and organizations stay close as it is a national occation. Our school too remains closed but we all gather in the school premises and hoist the national flag. The national Anthem and the national songs are sung and the importance of the day is explained to the children.





Festival Celebrations:

Most of the festivals in India are related to harvests and our school never lags behind in honoring such a harvest festival “sankranti” in our school. It is a day of great happiness and excitement for the teachers as well as the children. The school is fully decorated and the children, specially show a keen interest in making “Rangoli” in the school premises.





Sport's Day

Sports day is such a day which is much awaited by our children. This is the day they feel free to the show their talents and their mastery over a particular sport. Our school celebrates sports day every year in the month of October. It is a kind of relaxation for both the teachers and the children from their daily life.

BAL VIHAR SERVICE TRAINING FOR TEACHER EDUCATORS

“CHILDREN ARE NOT VESSELS TO BE FILLED, BUT LAMPS TO BE LIT” This lightening of the lamp should start from every stage of childhood because they learn it fast and truthfully. To develop such a Spiritual insight, Balvihar sessions are conducted in all Chinmaya Mission concerned schools. This time from 23rd Dec to 26th Dec 2021, the session for training the mentors was organized in Chinmaya Sharada Japovan at Ongole. This session was organized by Swami Suveerananda Ji; this session was led by five tremendously enthusiastic Mentors. To imbibe the Indian culture in the children, many mentors from different corners participated enthusiastically and learned it so as to teach their branches. Two of our Chinmaya Vidyalaya TPT staff Mrs. Hema Latha, Mrs. Bhargavi attended the session. So as to mold the students of our Vidyalaya still more in a brighter way. This opportunity will give immense knowledge and a great benefit to the children to be ALL- ROUNDERS and understand the immeasurable hidden values of Indian culture and tradition.

Mathematics Day Celebration

We the Chinmaya Vidhayalaya join the country to pay the humble tribute to the legendary Mathematician, Shri Srinivasa Ramanujam, a mathematical genius, and to his exceptional knowledge in Mathematics analysis, number theory, infinite series, and so on. He made our country proud by his outstanding achievement. Today being his birth anniversary, which is commemorated as National Mathematics Day, we in Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Tirupati celebrated by making the students come out with different mathematical analysis, speeches, and explanations. The day was celebrated with great regards to Shri Srinivasa Ramanujam and also to encourage the students to develop self learning and rationale skills.​

Science Exhibition

Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Tirupati organized Science Exhibition and Inter School Science Project Competition on 28th Oct, 2017.Two others schools Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and Silver Bells Central School also participated in this competition. The projects taken up by the students gave an indication how aware the present generation students are, regarding the problems our country is facing today. Projects exhibiting renewable resources of energy, like Tidal Power, Waste to Energy etc., Self garbage alerting system (Swachch Bharat) projects on Conservation of water etc., were presented. The Chief Guest, Dr. Anjan Babu HOD of MCA, S.V. university, Tirupati and the panel of judges enjoyed going round the Exhibition and were very appreciative about all the projects. The parents also appreciated the Exhibition.​

Students participated in Science fair conducted by National Science Congrass held at Sri Venkateswara University Campus Higher School. This was the open competition for all educational institutions including P.G. schools. Our Project "Modern methods of forming " got a lot of appreciations especially by Organising team Nirmala garu and Dravidan University V.C garu.​
