Under this scheme, schools can nominate the best original ideas and innovations from their students. Our Chinmaya Vidyalaya has put forth the best, its best hand through a student names Ruthwika, XI class along with the Science team, and proved themselves in the first level of District and rushing forward with more creative innovation for the oncoming state level.
Rama Navami, one of the biggest and most auspicious Hindu festivals in India, is celebrated on the last day of Chaitra Navaratri. Lord Ram was born on Ram Navami in Ayodhya on this day. He was born on Navami Tithi during the Shukla Paksha or Full Moon phase in the month of Chaitra, according to the Hindu calendar. Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Tirupati celebrated Rama Navami on April 21, 2021 with all it grandeour and devotion. The whole campus was filled with the divine mantras recited by the priests who performed the pooja. All the teachers and the non teaching staff along with the Principal enjoyed the pious atmosphere in the school campus on this occasion.
Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated in Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Tirupati online by creating a divine atmosphere on 30th August 2021. Our tiny tots of Kindergarten disguised themselves as Krishna and gopikas . Students performed skit, dances and recited songs on Krishna. The function was made delightful by the bhajans of Krishna and by performing pooja.
Bansat Panchami or Vasanth a Panchami is the festival dedicated to Goddesses Saraswati who is the Goddess of Knowledge, wisdom, language, music and all arts. The Hindu festival marks the preparation for the arrival of spring. In our Chinmaya Vidyalaya Tirupati, a traditional Pooja was conducted, the students worshipped Goddess Saraswati to get enlightened with Knowledge and to get rid of lethargy, sluggishness and ignorance. The program started with prayer, continued with Medha Suktam chanting and then with Goddess Saraswati songs. The complete school campus was reverberated with the almighty presence, chantings of mantras and the holiness.
India acknowledges Vijay Diwas as the victory in the Indo-Pak War, popularly known as Swarnim Vijay Varsh. On this day, India celebrates the day by paying homage to the Indian soldiers who achieved victory in the historical war which led to the creation of Bangladesh. This year marks the 51st anniversary of India’s victory over Pakistan in 1971. Students of Chinmaya Vidyalaya Tirupati paid tribute to the brave Indian soldiers who sacrificed their lives for India during the War by giving speeches, poster making and by their drawings and paintings.
National Youth Day is celebrated on January 12, every year in India to honor the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, one of India's greatest leaders and believers of youth power. Students of Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Tirupati gave presentations on Swami Vivekananda ji and remembered his teachings.
"Give me the blood and I will give you Freedom". These are the words of Nethaji. Netaji Subhash Chandra bose birthday is celebrated as Parakrama Diwas. It is the day that arises patriotism in everyone. Chinmaya Vidyalaya Tirupati celebrated the occasion to instill sincerity and National spirit in the students. The students of class VII enlightened everyone about the life of Nethaji and brought back his memories with inspirational words, paintings, slogans, and speeches. The commitment of the students brought with it a saga of love for the Nation and a feeling of Unity.
75th Independence Day was celebrated with Patriotic flavour in Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Tirupati on 15th August 2021. Flag raising was done by the Principal followed by National Anthem at school. Online programme was organized in which students presented poems, speeches, musical instrumental melodies, fancy dress, crafts related to national flag and map.
Karate is a martial art from the indigenous Ryukyuan. Gichin Funakoshi, the father of modern karate found this style in the 17th century as days, this martial art developed from China to all over the world. We, the Indians are not lacking behind in encouraging any art. Our Chittoor District Karate Championship conducted the Karate competitions and our Chinmaya Vidyalaya students P. Yajnadhar (Gold-2, Bronze-1 )of Class VI, P. Sourish (Gold-1, Silver-2)of Class III, and Ashwath (Gold-1, Silver-1)of Class I won the prizes and highlighted the level of themselves along with the school name. We, the Chinmaya Vidyalaya join the country to pay the humble tribute to the legendary Mathematician, Sri Srinivasa Ramanujam, a mathematical genius, and to his exceptional knowledge in Mathematics analysis, number theory, infinite series, and so on. He made our country proud by his outstanding achievement. Today being his birth anniversary, which is commemorated as National Mathematics Day, we in Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Tirupati celebrated by making the students come out with different mathematical analysis, speeches, and explanations. The day was celebrated with great regards to Shri Srinivasa Ramanujam and also to encourage the students to develop self learning and rational skills.
A poster-making competition was conducted by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's TPT on the topic ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat' in which one of our students from Chinmaya Vidyalaya Tirupati, Hamsika Raj of class VIII, secured second prize. It is a great privilege and pride for everyone both for the parents and the school. Our school always stands first in encouraging such children to shine in their talented fields.
