Chinmaya Bal Sevak Activities

Tamaraipakkam Visit

As a part of Chinmaya Bal Sevak Programme, students of class VII visited Thamaraipakkam on 30 oct, 31 oct, 8 and 9th november 2018. Students prepared Azola pit, Organic pesticides, Kitchen Garden, Teaching Aids for Anganwadi School and hand made Kaavadi for Sashti Festival and also cleaned the village temples and anganwadi school campus premises under the guidance of Priya Amma, CORD Volunteers and Teachers. Visit to Little Flower Convent

Students visited Little Flower Convent(a school for deaf and dumb students). They entertained the children by performing dance, meme and skit. They donated stationery items, chocolates and other snack items. View Images...

Ahimsa Peace Rally

As part of Karuna Club Activity, the Bal Sevaks of our vidyalaya held the Ahimsa Peace Rally on 10 Oct 2018. All the students of classes 7th and 8th enthusiastically participated in the Rally. Children distributed pamphlets on ahimsa and non-violence to people on the rally route. They also made and displayed placards on Ahimsa. Best Placards were awarded prizes.

600 Seeds Planted

Students planted 600 seeds at our school premises as part of seva activity. View Images...

CORD Stall

Students put a stall for CORD products during Area Yagna, in order to promote CORD products and to help the village people by selling their hand-made products. The total sale amount was Rs.10300/-.

Food Mela

Students conducted a Food Mela in connection with Janmashtami, in order to promote home-made food and to say NO to junk foods. They collected around Rs.50000/- and same was donated. View Class VII Images...

Kerala Relief Materials

Seva students from our vidyalaya collected relief materials, packed them and sent to the Chinmaya Heritage Center for distribution in flood hit areas in Kerala. View Images...

Fund Raising for Orphanage

Students prepared greeting cards and jewellery materials during the month of June and sold it to neighbours, family and friends and donated a sum of Rs.12000/- for orphanage.
