We have conducted election in our vidyalaya for the school council members. School students made aware of real time election process on 25th June 2019, in the School premises. It has turned out to be a new experience for primary students to be a part of the electioneering process. Students from Classes 4 to 10 took part in electing the members for the posts of Head Boy, Head Girl, Cultural Secretary, Sports Secretary, House Captains and Vice- Captains. Being the first exposure to voting system, students of class 4,Class 5 were also given instructions of the whole process starting from placing of “ink” on the left forefinger to the way of casting their votes. The School’s library turned into a polling booth where 12 voting tables each were placed on either side to enable faster voting.
