REPORT ON JUNIOR BALVIHAR CAMP
Our students who had registered for Jr.Balvihar Camp had a great time in the Annual Summer Jr.
Balvihar Camp (16.04.19 to 18.04.19) organized by Chinmaya Gardens,Coimbatore in the presence of Swamini
Vimalananda, Swamini Sampratishthananda and Brni.Shraddha Chaitanya. The camp was inaugurated by Brni.Shraddha
Chaitanyaji. She lit the lamp of prosperity and luck and imparted a few words of inspiration to the young
ones.
This was followed by some ice-breaking games where the kids interacted with each other and the volunteers.
Students enjoyed in the activities i.e Cool Chanting, Melodious Melodies, Motivational Movies, Groovy Games,
Super stories, Wonderful Workshops and Creativity Enhancement. These are the unique ways we follow to help the
children bloom, grow, and inculcate values through fun-filled activities. Bala Vihar enhances the overall
development of the personality of a child at all levels — physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual. The
students who participated in Jr. Balvihar camp also got participation certificates.
REPORT ON DONATING MONEY TO ORPHANAGE
Donating money or needed items to the orphanages is one of the best ways to help the orphan
Students. From our vidyalaya our children donated money (which they earn through food mela conducted in our
school) for one day meal to an orphanage ‘Rise a child’- at sullurpet.
REPORT ON FIRST DAY OF LKG & UKG
The first day of school for a kindergartener can be scary for parents and children, so it is
important to be prepared with the right school supplies. So, to take away that fear we made our little tiny
tots
had a great fun on the first day of school reopening 4th April 2019.
KARUNA CLUB ACTIVITY(Topic: Don’t leave Poverty as Poverty, Put a Step ahead)
In connection with “Karuna Club activity”, a skit was performed in assembly by the calss-IX
students on the topic “Don’t leave Poverty as Poverty, Put a Step ahead” on 15th December 2019. The moral of
this skit is don’t waste the food unnecessarily, try to donate something to poor.
KARUNA CLUB ACTIVITY(Topic: Importance Of Education)
In connection with “Karuna Club activity”, our students of Class-V performed a skit in
assembly
about“The Importance Of Education” on 12th February 2019. Children participated enthusiastically and conveyed
the message very effectively.
Karuna Club Report
As a part of Karuna club activity, our students of class-VIII took up the cleaning of “Lord
Shiva’s Temple” located at Bolingalapeta. They were accompanied by our teachers Mrs.Vijayalakshmi and
Mr.Sreenivasulu. Students took pride in this activity and assured to do it regularly.
Marathon Report
As a part of the Republic day celebrations, “National Integration Sricity Marathon-2019” was
organised on 30th January 2019. 98 students of our Vidyalaya from Class VI to X took part in 5K Run(Under 15
category). Amongst the participants C. Sharmila of class-IX, N. Jyothi Kumar of class-VIII, M. Indrateja of
class IX, stood 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

In “NATIONAL KARATE OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP-2019”, Organized by Ksokaai Karate-Do International Academy held on 10th
February 2019, The following students got Medals and Certificates under different categories.
A. Chandrahas Reddy (Class-III),P. Roshan (Class-IV),
S. Dheeraj(Class-V), P. Lekitha(Class-V),G.Devi sree(Class-IV) stood First Place and got Gold Medals,
B. Kiran Maye (Class-VI) got Silver Medal,
P. Harisha (Class-III) got Bronze Medal.
Road Safety Awareness Program
In connection with “30th National road safety week”, Road safety Awareness Program was
conducted
by Sricity Police Department on 4th February 2019. Our students of class VIII and IX escorted by Mrs. K.
Kavitha, Mr. Sridhar had attended this Program. Our students got appreciation from Sricity Traffic Police
Department for their active participation.

Spell Bee Second Level Exam was conducted for 27 students on 9th of January, 2019. The exam

conducted under the invigilation of Spell Bee International team.

In Spell Bee International Competition our students secured Merit Plus and Merit certificates
along with medals.
Independence Day
Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor on 15th August,
2018
in our vidyalaya. On this special occasion, the programme started with flag hoisting by the Principal
Smt.Hemalatha Kathiravan. Students participated by singing patriotic songs.
Sri chinmaya Vidyaa Ganapathi
On 11th August 2018, Mahamandala pooja was performed for our Sri chinmaya Vidyaa Ganapathi.
The
ritual was performed with great devotion to invoke his blessings.
Guru Purnima
On 27th July ’18, we observed the auspicious day of Guru Purnima with great reverence and
devotion.
A special assembly was conducted in our vidyalaya, marked by the floral tribute to our poojya Gurudev Swami
Chinmayananda in ritualistic respect of guru puja. The program started with the Ashtotaram followed by slokas,
dance and bhajans.
Lord Ganesh (Ganapathi)
Lord Ganesh (Ganapathi) is also known as Vinayaka (bestower of knowledge) and
Vigneshwara (remover of obstacles). He is worshipped before starting any
important task and is believed to bring good luck and prosperity. As per this
thought, we built a Ganesha temple at our Vidyalaya and performed
Kumbabishekam on 24th June'2018.
The ritual was performed well with the gracious presence of H.H.Swami

Awareness on Child Abuse
Smt.Vimala Kumari, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sricity visited our vidyalaya to bring
awareness on Child Sexual Abuse. She addressed the students of Classes VIII to X and discussed about the good
touch and bad touch.The movie 'Komal' was screened. She also motivated and guided the children on how they
should react on any social evil and prove themselves to be good citizens. Children raised several questions
regarding safety issues, corruption and bribery. It was definitely an eye opener for the youngsters.
