Karuna Club - Inter School Competitions
Karuna Club of Chinmaya Vidyalaya Sr. Sec. School, Virugambakkam organised inter school competitions on 27 Aug 2016. Around 13 schools from different places in Chennai took part in the various competitions. The event was inaugurated by Shri.Padam Kumar J Tatia (President, Chennai Kendra, Karuna International). Vice-Principal Mrs. Elavarisi welcomed the chief guest and the gathering. Children rendered a melodious choral song in Hindi. Shri Padamji urged the children to inculcate values and live a Karuna way of life. Competitions conducted were Poetry Recitation, Drawing and Colouring, Quiz (Juniors and Seniors), Best out of Waste, Cook without fire, Mono acting, Music, Dance, Poster Making, Rangoli, Poetry Writing, Extempore, Essay Writing and Elocution (Tamil) for children of different age groups. Valedictory was conducted wherein our Corresopondent Shri.N.Nagarajan rendered the welcome address. The prizes were given away by Shri.Prakash Chand Gulecha (Vice President,Chennai Kendra, Karuna International). Mrs. Lakshmi Narayan, Coordinator, Karuna Club proposed the Vote of Thanks. View Gallery
