Karuna Club Inauguration
At Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Virugambakkam we had the Karuna Club Inauguration on 5.7.16. The programme started with the Karuna prayer which was rendered by the school choir. The chief guests Shri. Sajjanlal Surana, Secretary Karuna International Shri. KPG Reddy, senior member Karuna International and Shri. Rama Murugesh, Education Officer, Karuna International were welcomed by our Principal Smt.P.Vijayalakshmi. Shri. Sajjanlal Surana spoke to the students about the values to be imbibed in our life through six golden principles. He also explained beautifully the meaning of the Karuna prayer. Shri.KPG Reddy spoke to the kids about the importance of respecting ones parents and how they must learn values from them. Shri. Rama Murugesh briefed the children about the importance of leading a Karuna way of life and living the Karuna values. It was followed by a dance and music programme that highlighted the importance of compassion, kindness and spreading love. he students and Karuna members took the Karuna Pledge.
