Ahimsa Peace Rally

The Karuna Club of Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Virugambakkam organized the Ahimsa Peace Rally on 5th October, Wednesday. Around 150 Students of class VIII took part in the rally. The children holding placards with meaningful slogans spread the message of peace and non-violence in the neighbourhood. The rally was flagged off by the vice president of Karuna International, Chennai Kendra, Shri. KPG Reddy. Children also distributed pamphlets to the general public in order to create awareness among them about the importance of peace and harmony. The rally was well received by the people of the neighbourhood who appreciated the efforts taken by the school in instilling values in children and in bringing about social awareness. Three best placards were chosen for prizes.
