UK Visit
Mrs.Uma Sankaranarayanan’s visit to UK from 2nd July to 12th July 2015 Mrs.Uma Sankaranarayanan, our English Teacher alongwith Mrs.Gowrilakshmi Principal, Chinmaya Vidyalaya Anna Nagar and Mrs.Seena, Teacher Chinmaya Vidyalaya Anna Nagar visited Birmingham and Doncaster – UK as a part of the British Council Connecting classroom project. Our Vidyalaya received the grant funded by the U.K. Government for the second year. She had a chance to visit Selly Park Technology College for girls in Birmingham. She took a class for Grade IX in English and also observed an English class. This visit paved way to know about the various teaching and learning strategies followed in UK schools. She also visited Hungerhill School in Dancaster. On the whole the trip provided an enriched learning experience for her. Visit Gallery
