Karuna Club - Mass Gita Chanting
There are many gems of Ethical Human Values lying untapped in Vedas and Vedic Literature like Bhagwad Geetha, lying unfathomed and unutilised in the modern times. As a part of Swami Chinmayananda's birth centenary movement that started from May 8, 2015, over 500 Students of Chinmaya Vidyalaya Senior Secondary School, Virugambakkam formed a HUMAN CHAIN starting from the school gate to the Shiva Vishnu temple, Natesa Nagar, Virugambakkam on 14/8/15 reminded us about those hidden values by a mass chanting of the 15th chapter of the Baghavath Geetha. The chanting was flagged off by Mr. Bikkaji, Geetha Chanting Coordinator, Chinmaya Mission, Chennai in the presence of School Principal Mrs. P. Vijayalakshmi. The students chanted with great devotion for universal peace and harmony. The residents of Chinmaya Nagar were happy to listen to the recital and blessed the students for their excellent rendering.
