Karuna Club - Hall of Fame Award
Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Virugambakkam always believes in bringing about holistic development in children through the Value Based Education. We conduct many interschool and intraschool activities to help students imbibe values in a most effective manner. The Karuna Club of the school,in order to promote humane values in children conducts various activities like rallies, training programmes, competitions based on Karuna values, donation to orphanages, recycing drive etc. all round the year. In the 18th Annual Karuna International conference that was held on 26th and 27th of December at Jain Vidyashram,Puzal, Chinmaya Vidyalaya,Virugambakkam was the proud recipient of the All India ' HALL OF FAME' First Prize for inculcating values in children in the most effective way. We received it from the former Chief Election Commissioner Shri.Gopalaswamy. We also won the prize for the best exhibit and received a cash award for the same. S.Advay of class IV won the Dayawan award.
