Vegetarian Mela
Chinmaya Vidyalaya Senior Secondary School, Virugambakkam organized a Students rally on 14.10.14(Tuesday) as a part of their Karuna Club activity. The children had designed attractive placards on Non-violence, peace and Harmony, World peace and Ahimsa. The rally was flagged off by members of Karuna International Shri. Prakash Gulecha and Shrin K.P.J.Reddy. The children marched enthusiastically, shouting slogans. On the Kaliammman koil Manin raod, the children held hands and formed a human chain. The passersby stopped to talk to the children, read the message on the placards and appreciated the efforts of the children. After a march of nearly 2 Kms, the rally concluded in the premises of the school. Shrin Prakash Gulecha and Shri KPJ Reddy chose 30 best placards out of the 160 and gave away prizes. They also spoke to the children on following a non-violent and harmonious way of life.
