SCHOOLS, IN INDIA AND UNITED KINGDOM SHAKE HANDS
The Principal Mrs. P. Vijayalakshmi alongwith Mrs. Geetha Venkataraman had been to Selly Park Technology College for Girls Birmingham, UK, on a reciprocal visit from 16/06/14 to 24/06/14. At Birmingham, there was a small presentation on Birmingham and their school, by the children in the assembly. They also enacted a few scenes on different Shakepeare’s plays. The tour around the Birmingham school, and an observation class in Mathematics paved the way towards better understanding of the different teaching strategies followed in UK.
