CVV STAR ACHIEVERS To achieve a “Clean India” as a part of the Bar Swachhata Mission CBSE organized the CBSE Expression series on “Bal Swachhata Mission” from 14th to 19th November 2014. Our student Lavanya of class X got selected from all over Tamil Nadu. She has been awarded a cash award of Rs.2500/- for the same. S.B.Nithish of class IV participated in the “World Record Event” created by Stage Light Music Artists Union for the Largest Full Drum Kit ensemble lead by Kalaimamani Drums Sivamani at YMCA Ground, Nandanam. JENESYS 2014 – Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for students and Youth Programme organized by Japan International Cooperation Center in which G.Vikashini of class XI visited Japan representing India, from 11th November to 18th November 2014 and has successfully completed the Traditional Culture/Heritage/Art programme for the 15th Batch. She received a Certificate from the President of Japan International Cooperation Center for the same. Students of Chinmaya Vidyalaya Senior Secondary school, Virugambakkam participated in the CBSE Yoga National Competition held from 16th October 2014 to 18th October 2014 at Bhartiyam Vidya Niketan, Gwalior, and bagged the first place as National level Champions!! Yoga master Dr. R. Venugopal was awarded as the best coach. Our school Boys Yoga team comprising of Shravan Bharani of class X, S.Prem Sundar of class IX, R. Surya of class IX, K.V.Giridhar Dhananjay of class IX and V.Sundar of class VIII emerged as the winners and each of them received a gold medal for the same. The school was awarded with a trophy and Yoga master Dr. R. Venugopal received a shield for the best coach.    G.Aadithyan of class VII ,K.R.Harshavardhan,and V.Rahul of class VI have made it to the elite list of FIITJEE Talent Reward Exam Chennai West Zonal toppers list and will be receiving the gold medal for the same. Our school received a trophy in a function held on 6th July 2014 at Sir Mutha Venkatasubba Rao Concert Hall, Shenstone Part, Harrington Road, Chetpet. Aditya Anand of class X got INSPIRE Award for the year 2013-14 (Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research) by Tamil Nadu Science and Technology Centre, Department of Science and Technology Centre. He received a cheque for Rs. 5000/- for the same Prardana Subramanian of class II won the Second Prize in the National Finals of Spartan Spelling Bee competition 2013-14. She also received the cash prize of Rs.2000/- for the same Abhinav Anand of class II won the Second Prize in the State Finals of Spartan Spelling Bee competition 2013-14.
