Independence Day Celebrations As a part of the independence day celebrations Lt. Col. Mr. Rajiv Chawla presided over the function, hoisted the National flag and distributed the prizes for children who exceled in academics. The theme for the cultural programme was 'Satwik, Tamasic and Rajasic Gunas'. Children very beautifully enumerated the concepts of 'victory of good over evil', patriotism, self control and serving one and all, through a dance drama. Yoga Festival On 14th August, a yoga festival was organized by the Satyanandha Yoga school of Bihar school of Yoga at our school premises. In this programme, the students of classes VI, VII, VIII and IX demonstrated various yoga skills and also spoke about how yoga plays a very important part in keeping our mind and body active. It helped children understand on how yoga plays a vital role in ensuring a better standard of living. Certificates and gifts were given to the participants.
