Chinmaya Vidyalaya Primary Department Celebrated Project Exhibition
The primary students celebrated Aradhana Day on 3rd August 2013. A project exhibition titled “BHARATHIYAM” was conducted which gave the children an opportunity to showcase their talents on Indianism – The Science of Living. The little ones of Class I with their charm and style, lured the audience and made them a part of the Festivities. They celebrated Pongal, Diwali and Dussera with a collage of dance, drama and music. The Rathyatra left the parents exhilarated. The giants of Class II shed light on the various Symbols at the physical and intellectual level. The depiction was indeed mind blowing. Class III amazed the audience with a portrayal of the different roles a man plays in society for its betterment. Swadharma was the focus point. The food stall with an exquisite range of mouth wateringSatvic, Tamasic and Rajasic dishes was a thorough blockbuster. The legendary figures from the great epics, the Ramayana and the Mahabharatha rocked the ramp with the epic walk. Our Ithihasas and Puranas were elaborately picturized by the students of Class IV. The rendering of the Namaramayanamwas a real treat to the ears. The shadow show spoke volumes of our culture. Class V cast their spell on the spectators with the puppet show. Our rich Tradition and vedic way of life was punctuated through the dance. The interview with Our Gurudev has enlightened us and will help us to glitter in life. The chief guests of the day were Our Chinmaya Mission Chennai Acharya, Swami Mritranandaji and Smt. GeetaMenon, Vice President of Chinmaya Mission, Chennai, who were highly impressed and lauded the efforts of the little ones. It was a great blessing to have our Acharya amidst us on this auspicious occasion. Arise, Awake and stop not till the goal is achieved.
